Objectives: To evaluate vaccination among patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases initiating disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARD) Methods: Data from the real-world life PANLAR's register of consecutive patients diagnosed with RA, PsA, and axSpa (2010 ACR-EULAR /2006 CASPAR-2009 ASAS) from Dec 2021 to Dec 2022 were analyzed. Prevalence of recommended vaccinations were compared between different inflammatory rheumatic diseases. Categorical variables were expressed as %. Tables were analyzed with chi2 or Fisher tests, continuous variables (median, IQR)with the Kruskal-Wallis test, according with the variables type. A p value <=0.05 was considered significant. Result(s): 608 patients were included. Among patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA) are presented in the table. RA and axSpA seemed to have lower vaccination rate of pneumococcal vaccines than PsA. (p = 0.045 for conjugate anti pneumococcal vaccine in RA vs PsA). A large percentage of the population was vaccinated against COVID-19. There was a high rate of influenza vaccination in all three diseases. Conclusion(s): In Latin America, anti-pneumococcal vaccination is low, especially in patients with RA and axSpA. For other vaccines there was an acceptable level of vaccination without differences between diseases.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought about profound changes in social and professional contexts. Schools and universities all over the world were closed to curb the contamination. In a short period, many educators were forced to reinvent their classes in a non-classroom mode, mediated by technology. This scenario of overwork can lead educators to stress, favoring distress, anxi-ety, and depression due to the uncertainties resulting from the pandemic and the search for new knowledge acquisition. This paper shows the research results conducted by university educators in Latin America who have been exercising teaching activities during social isolation imposed by COVID-19. The results show that with just one exception, educators from all countries reported suffering from some stress-related aspects concerning some manner to remote teaching. Higher workload perception came from women, unfolding gender inequalities amplified during pandem-ics. There is no clear relationship between the degree of technological expertise and stress factors, although, in general, educators use more time to prepare learning material and monitor students' progress. Technological infrastructure was not a big concern for those educators in big cities, but some fundamental infrastructure problems were reported due to each country's economic reality or geographic conditions.

Conventional learning management systems are not usually designed for children-based audiences. The recent COVID-19 pandemics brought the urgency about thinking on dedicated design of learning environments for this kind of public, considering the impact that remote teaching brought to children in scholar ages all around the world. The present work aims to understand the usability of the child audience under systems and interfaces aimed at remote education, through research, bibliographic references, and practical examples. Its main objective is the development of a children-oriented Moodle interface that has been tested by teachers and pedagogical experts. © 2022 IEEE.

Background: The SARS-CoV-2 virus has caused a worldwide health crisis. Patients with infammatory arthritis are at higher risk of hospitalization and death by COVID-19 due to comorbidities or immunosuppressive treatments. Vaccination is one the most important strategies to control the pandemic. Objectives: To evaluate the incident cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection in a multi-centric cohort of infammatory arthritis in Brazil. Methods: BiobadaBrasil is a multicentric registry-based cohort study of Brazilian patients with rheumatic diseases starting their frst bDMARD or tsDMARD (1). The present analysis is a retrospective evaluation of adult patients with infam-matory arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis-RA, spondylarthritis-SpA and psoriatic arthritis-PsA) that were alive since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemics in Brazil in February 2020. We evaluated the incidence and severity of COVID-19 infection and the adherence to anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccines schedules, up to January 2022. Results: A total of 300 patients were interviewed and 69 (23.0%) reported con-frmed anti-SARS-CoV infection and 5 (1.7%) had a second infection. Among known infected patients, 18.8% need hospitalization and oxygen support, 7.2% were admitted at ICU, and 5.8% died. After COVID-19 infection, 31.8% reported worsening of disease activity but only 6.1% had modifcation in medication due to disease activity. Distribution of cases followed the pattern of waves observed in Brazil (Figure 1). Regarding vaccination, 285 (95%) reported to have received at least one dose of any anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccine: 43% received the frst with the adenovirus ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 (AstraZeneca) adenovirus vaccine, 32% received the Sinovac-CoronaVac inactivated vaccine, 22% received the BNT162b2 (Pfzer-BioNtech) mRNA vaccine and 3% received the BNT162b2 (Pfzer-BioNtech) adenovirus vaccine. Almost all (98.1%) of these patients had already received the second dose of vaccine and after the frst and second vaccine doses, 6% and 4% of patients, respectively, reported worsening of articular disease activity, while, after the third dose, no patient reported disease activity worsening. Conclusion: During the pandemics, patients with infammatory arthritis had a pattern of distribution of cases very similar to general population. Adherence to vaccination is high and well tolerated.

The coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is a pathogen that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome in humans (COVID-19). Its outbreak has engulfed the world suddenly, leading to a global pandemic crisis. This review article was designed to evaluate the existing evidence and experience related to an already-approved pharmacologic agent called remdesivir. PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and SCIELO databases were used to search for word-combinations, such as “COVID-19 AND Remdesivir” or “SARS-CoV-2 AND Remdesivir”. Four reviewers independently searched results and ed data from selected studies up to March 21. Remdesivir has been shown to inhibit SARS-CoV-2, in vitro and in vivo, with therapeutic potential in treating patients hospitalized with COVID-19. However, it has been associated with the development of adverse effects. © 2022, Conselho Federal de Medicina. All rights reserved.

Undergraduate students from courses related to Computer Programming often face barriers such as insufficient prerequisites for difficult subjects and lack of motivation. Completing tasks such as logical reasoning, algorithm design, and programming is often more difficult than usual. On the other hand, these young students are very attracted to video games, especially in social distance protocols as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and can spend many hours playing video games. Thus, educators can try to use video games as educational tools in an attempt to motivate and engage the study in a more playful way and closer to the interactivity of games that most students are already used to. In this sense, the purpose of this article is to present the reuse of a conventional open source 2D Point Click game, aimed at entertainment, in an educational RPG game to teach the fundamentals of Computer Programming that can be used on a Web-based platform and incorporated into parts of the Emergency Remote Education classes. An alpha version of the educational game was delivered, in Portuguese, and a subjective experiment was carried out with a sample of 14 IT students and the results of the article show that the reuse of the game was made directly and can be redistributed as an open educational resource form. © 2021 IEEE.

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the digitization process. Interface design and human-computer interaction become political tools in this context, which can guarantee quality in the experience of users of mobile devices, reducing these social distances. In this study a systematic mapping was executed to clarify the outlines of criteria that are commonly evaluated on mobile device interfaces in the light of the literature, trying to emphasize more specific aspects, investigating the heuristics, metrics, and recommendations described in each study. This mapping identified 65 heuristics, which were divided into four groups: Usability, User Experience, Accessibility, and Aesthetics. Further research is needed to investigate how to structure the heuristics in a way that facilitates understanding, consultation, and the evaluation processes. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

This paper aims to reflect about opinions and reports about the Covid-19 impact on society and on the fashion industry from retail, luxury market professionals and consumer behaviour researchers. The pandemic impacts are analysed under the perspective of consumer behaviour and the demand for connection and affection from the isolation caused by the pandemic. Within these two dimensions, variables like biosafety, risk, time and technology were considered to formulate reflections on the future and to visualize opportunities, external threats and the impact on the internal strengths and weaknesses of different luxury, mass and differentiation business. The analysis was formulated based on books, research on websites in the digital sphere that encompass different opinions involved in the fashion world, as well as recent trend studies. To meet new consumer demands, a brand needs to be present in the digital environment and connect to its consumers on an emotional level through its purpose, values and communication, by means of virtual and physical channels in a fluid, direct and transparent way. Small businesses may have a greater capacity to adapt to the new post-Covid-19 moment, due to the agility of responding to adversities. © 2021 Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos. OBJECTIVE: To analyse how testing the population influences the health indicators used to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic in the 50 countries with the highest number of diagnosed cases. METHODS: This was an ecological study using secondary data retrieved on 8/19/2020. Cumulative incidence, mortality rate, case-fatality rate, and proportion of positive tests were calculated. The data were described and presented graphically, with their respective Spearman Correlation Coefficients. RESULTS: The testing rate varied enormously between countries. Cumulative incidence and the proportion of positive tests were correlated with the number of tests, while the mortality rate and case-fatality rate showed low correlation with this indicator. CONCLUSION: Most countries do not test enough to ensure adequate monitoring of the pandemic, and this is reflected in the quality of the indicators. Expanding the number of tests is essential, but it needs to be accompanied by other measures, such as isolation of diagnosed cases and contact tracing.
